On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at approximately 1739 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 3685 Secor Avenue, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Additionally, officers located a 14-year-old male in front of 2909 Laconia Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the left arm.
EMS responded and transported the unidentified male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Police officers from the 49 Precinct transported the 14-year-old male in a marked RMP to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a criminal mischief / hate crime, which occurred within the confines of the 1st Precinct in Manhattan.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, February 02, 2023, at approximately 1615 hours, an unidentified individual approached a mobile Mitzvah Tank Synagogue, which was parked at 575 Broadway, and graffitied the word “PALESTINE” on the exterior of the synagogue vehicle.
The individual then fled into the subway system.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
Surveillance video clip and photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
