The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a burglary, which occurred within the confines of the 70th Precinct in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, January 21, 2022, at approximately 1500 hours, at a residence, located in the vicinity of Coney Island Avenue and Newkirk Avenue, the individual gained entry into the 33-year-old male victim’s apartment through his unsecured door.

Once inside, the individual removed the victim’s passport and cellphone.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, with a beard and mustache.

He was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweater and blue jeans.

Surveillance video clip and photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
