The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the identity and whereabouts of the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a rape, that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, July 17, 2023, at approximately 1130 hours, the victim, a 17-year-old female, was walking inside of a building in the vicinity of Rosedale Avenue and Watson Avenue when she was approached by an unknown individual, who pushed her into a room, punched her in the face then proceeded to rape her.

The individual was last seen fleeing southbound on Rosedale Avenue on foot.

The victim was removed by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi in stable condition.

The individual is described as an adult male in his 20s to 30s, Black, with a dark skin complexion, acne scarring on the face, a mustache , approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, and black shorts with a white stripe.
