On Monday, December 18, 2023, at approximately 1121, hours, police responded to a 911 call for an aided child at 240 E. 175th Street, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 5-year-old male and a 5-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, inside an apartment at the location.
EMS responded and pronounced the aided children deceased at the scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed the cause of both deaths as murder.
Following proper family notification, the victims have been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 42-year-old female individual was arrested and charged on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 1435 hours, within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
