On Thursday, March 7, 2024, at approximately 1614 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to multiple 911 calls of a person, shot at 762 Cauldwell Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old male, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.
The victim was removed by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 17-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 1215 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
