On Saturday, September 2, 2023, at approximately 2257 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at W. 175th Street and Macombs Road, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 44-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his right leg.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
A person of interest was taken into custody on scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 42-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at approximately 1500 hours, within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

- assault;
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
