On Saturday, January 17, 2026, at approximately 0939 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious female inside a residential building, located at 38 Featherbed Lane, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 50-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma to the head and body.
EMS responded and pronounced the aided female deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a criminal mischief / hate crime, which occurred within the confines of the 1st Precinct in Manhattan.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, February 02, 2023, at approximately 1615 hours, an unidentified individual approached a mobile Mitzvah Tank Synagogue, which was parked at 575 Broadway, and graffitied the word “PALESTINE” on the exterior of the synagogue vehicle.
The individual then fled into the subway system.
The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
Surveillance video clip and photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
