On Friday, January 3, 2025, at approximately 1748 hours, police responded to a 911 call for an assault at 1491 Macombs Road, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the left chest and a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right abdomen.
EMS responded and transported unidentified male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The 17-year-old male was also transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
