On Saturday, June 7, 2025, at approximately 2145 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at 18 W. Kingsbridge Road, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that an 18-year-old male was shot in the buttocks by an unidentified individual after a verbal dispute.
The individual fled the location in an unknown direction.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
The victim succumbed to his injuries on Monday, June 16, 2025.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, this incident has been deemed a homicide by the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 17-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 2230 hours, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.
