On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at approximately 0504 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault at 1579 Westchester Avenue within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 32-year-old male with a stab wound to the back of the neck and trauma about the body.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in stable condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
