On Monday, August 5, 2024, at approximately 2330 hours, Bronx Homicide and 41st Precinct Detective Squad personnel conducted a search warrant at 903 Rogers Place, within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
A firearm and drug paraphernalia were recovered inside a bedroom.
Furthermore, human remains of a 46-year-old male were found inside the kitchen of the apartment.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 40-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 0930 hours, within the confines of the 41st Precinct.

Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- concealment of a human corpse;
- criminal possession of a weapon (firearm);
- criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree;
- criminal possession of a controlled substance (subsection 1) in the 3rd degree, 3 counts;
- criminal possession of a controlled substance (subsection 12) in the 3rd degree, 2 counts.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
