The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault (non-fatal shooting), that occurred within the confines of the 101st Precinct in Queens.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at approximately 2142 hours, the victim, a 19-year-old male was exiting his apartment, located in the vicinity of Seagirt Avenue and Beach 8th Street, when an unidentified male individual began shooting at the victim, striking him once in the left leg.

The male individual then fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim was removed to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition. There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as an adult male in his 30s, Black, with black hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, brown pants and brown boots.
