The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to an assault on a MTA employee, which occurred within the confines of the 20th Precinct in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at approximately 1600 hours, on a westbound Mx66 MTA Bus, a 52-year-old male bus driver was approached by an unknown individual, who pepper sprayed him multiple times and proceeded to throw the pepper spray can at him.

The individual exited the bus in front of 155 W. 66th Street and fled eastbound on the same street on foot.

The bus driver sustained minor injuries was treated by EMS on scene.

The individual is described as an adult female in her 30s, Black, with a heavybuild, and black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, multicolored scarf and dark-colored pants.
