The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 1550 hours, inside of 128 E. 170th Street (a clothing store), an unknown male individual attempted to leave the location with store merchandise without paying.

A 32-year-old female store clerk attempted to prevent him from leaving by closing the front door.

The male pushed the store employee aside and fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim suffered pain and bruising to her arm.

EMS responded but the victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The store merchandise consisted of clothing with an estimated value of $140.

The individual is described as an adult male, 20-30 years of age, Black, with a slim build, and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing black clothes, camouflage backpack, and black sunglases.
