The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the two male individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who are wanted in connection to a police impersonation burglary and an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 75th Precinct / PSA 2 in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

On Saturday, January 08, 2022, at approximately 0815 hours, inside of a residence, located in the vicinity of Linden Boulevard and Euclid Avenue (Cypress Hills House), two (2) unknown males entered the residential building and knocked on an apartment door of a 53-year-old male victim.

The two (2) males stated they were police officers, the victim opened his door and exited his apartment. The two (2) males then put the victim in handcuffs and removed the victim from his apartment to another location in the building, where they began to punch him about the head and body, causing pain and bruising.

The males then took approximately $100 cash from the victim’s pocket, removed the handcuffs and exited the location on foot.

EMS responded but the victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The two (2) individuals are described as adult males in their 20s-30s.

Both were last seen wearing all dark clothing.
