The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph

and video clip, who is sought in connection with an assault, which occurred within the confines of the 25th Precinct in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, February 14, 2022, at approximately 1615 hours, a 68-year-old male victim was at the corner of Lexington Avenue and E. 116th Street, when an unidentified male individual got into a verbal dispute with the victim.

The male individual then knocked the victim to the ground and struck him about the body multiple times, before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.

The victim was removed to Metropolitan Hospital in stable condition.

The unidentified male individual is described as an adult male in his 40s, with dark skin complexion and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket with a black hoodie underneath, black pants, black sneakers and black gloves.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
