On Saturday, May 17, 2025, at approximately 2157 hours, officers responded to a 911 call of two people, shot in front of 812 New Jersey Avenue, within the confines of the 75th Precinct in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers observed an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso, and an 18-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the right arm.
EMS responded and transported the 18-year-old male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County, where he was pronounced deceased.
The 18-year-old female was transported by EMS to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
