Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who is wanted in connection to a grand larceny, which occurred within the confines of the 5th Precinct / Transit District 2 in Manhattan.

The following has been reported to police.

On Friday, February 18, 2022, at approximately 0814 hours, the individual approached the 58-year-old male victim, while on the southbound 4/5 train platform, inside the Brooklyn Bridge- City Hall subway station.

The individual proceeded to remove the victim’s iPhone from his hands.

The individual was last seen boarding a southbound L train at the Chambers Street subway station.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.
