Tyrone Padilla, 61, Murdered

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking the public’s assistance identifying the whereabouts of the individual, depicted in the attached media, who is wanted in connection with a homicide, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, January 5, 2024, at approximately 0120 hours, the victim, a 61-year-old male, was followed by an unidentified male individual into a building, located in the vicinity of Creston Avenue and E. 184th Street.

As the victim attempted to flee, the unidentified male individual proceeded to stab the victim twice in the neck and armpit.

The male individual then left the building and fled to unknown whereabouts.

Upon arrival, officers observed the 61-year-old male with multiple stab wounds about the neck and torso.

EMS responded to the location and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.
