On Thursday, July 4, 2024, at approximately 1716 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to a 911 call for an assault with a knife in progress inside of 147-25 94 Avenue, within the confines of the 103rd Precinct in Queens.
Upon arrival, two (2) uniformed officers entered the apartment and observed a 43-year-old male being held at knifepoint by the 20-year-old male suspect.
The officers gave verbal commands to the suspect to drop the knife. The suspect did not comply, and one officer discharged his firearm one time striking the suspect in the right side of the torso.
The suspect was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The officers were also removed to an area hospital for evaluation.
Inside of the location officers discovered an 8-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the chest. He was removed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
A 30-year-old female was discovered with multiple stab wounds to the back. She was removed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
The 43-year-old male suffered multiple stab wounds throughout the body. He was removed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
