On Saturday, July 20, 2024, at approximately 0532 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at Hegeman Avenue and Mother Gaston Blvd, within the confines of the 73rd Precinct in Brooklyn.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 47-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the left cheek, left arm and left thigh.
The victim was transported by EMS to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
