On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at approximately 1143 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, stabbed in the vicinity of E. Tremont Avenue and Morris Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male with stab wounds to his torso, leg, and arm.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 28-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at 1700 hours, within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
