Juan Pena, 18, Murdered

On Sunday, February 2, 2025, at approximately 0125 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at the intersection of E. Tremont Avenue and Park Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed an 18-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds about the body.

EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
