On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at approximately 0028 hours, police responded to a Shot Spotter activation in the vicinity of 2171 Grand Concourse, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head, in front of 2155 Grand Concourse.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
