The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with a forcible touching in transit, which occurred within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct / Transit District 4 in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 0845 hours,aboard a southbound 5 train in route to Grand Central 42nd Street, the victim, a 27-year-old female, was seated on the train, when an unidentified male stood beside her and placed his groin to her shoulder.

The unidentified male and the victim detrained separately at 14th Street-Union Square subway station, and the unidentified male fled.

The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
