On Friday, October 27, 2023, at approximately 2007 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 1285 Washington Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 58-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
EMS responded to the location and transported the male victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
