The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance media, wanted in connection to a homicide, that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at approximately 0253 hours, officers responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at E. 176th Street and Mohegan Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The sought individual is described as a male with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing all black clothing and reflective sneakers.

The individual fled the location on a Citi Bike, traveling southbound on Waterloo Place.
