On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at approximately 0746 hours, police responded to a 911 call about a person, shot in the vicinity of Trinity Avenue and E. 149th Street,within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
