On Friday, June 10, 2022, at approximately 1701 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided female inside of a residential building on E. 187th Street, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive inside of a bathroom, that suffered a large amount of blood loss.
EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased on scene.
The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
