On Saturday, July 13, 2024, at approximately 2218 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in the vicinity of 2247 Webster Avenue, within the confines of the 46 Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his torso and a 26-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her hand.
The 26-year-old female was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
The 28-year-old male was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.
