On Saturday, April 16, 2022, at approximately 0811 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a suspicious bag with blood on it, located at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Jackie Robinson Parkway, within the confines of the 102nd Precinct in Queens.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 51-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive inside of a duffle bag at the location.
EMS responded and pronounced the aided deceased on scene.
A blood trail was followed multiple blocks to a house, located on Juno Street, within the confines of the 112th Precinct in Queens.
There are no arrests in regard and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
