On Monday, June 13, 2022, at approximately 0250 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a female, stabbed inside of an apparent in a residential building, located on Grand Concourse, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old female, an off-duty NYPD Police Officer, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds about the body.
EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
A 34-year-old male turned himself in at a neighboring precinct and the investigation remains ongoing.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed homicid as follows.

- murder,
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
