On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at approximately 0334 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in the vicinity of E. 216th Street and White Plains Road, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 40-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the chest, in front of 3734 White Plains Road.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Heath + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
