The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following person, who has been reported missing from, and resides within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

It was reported to police that Newton Escalera was last seen leaving his residence on Friday, September 19, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m.
The missing is described as a 38-year-old male, Hispanic, approximately 5’7” tall, weighing 200 lbs., with a dark skin complexion, medium build, brown eyes, and bald.
He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, burgundy shorts, and black sneakers.
