On Monday, February 13, 2023, at approximately 1857 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of 689 E. 187 Street, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
