On Friday, January 10, 2025, at approximately 0933 hours, police responded to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, located at 234 E. 149th Street, Bronx, NY 10451, for a 14-year-old male with stab wounds in critical condition.
Officers arrived at the hospital and were informed by hospital staff that the victim had sustained multiple stab wounds to the chest and was pronounced deceased.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the incident occurred in front of 300 E. 138th Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 29-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1000 hours, within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
