On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 1310 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an aided female inside of NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, located at 5141 Broadway, within the confines of the 34th Precinct in Manhattan.
Upon arrival, officers were informed by hospital staff that a 27-year-old female was transported unconscious and unresponsive to the hospital from Bereshit Lifestyle Center, located at 3190 Riverdale Avenue, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
The 27-year-old female was subsequently pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 55-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 2100 hours, within the confines of the 50th Precinct.

Charges:
- reckless endangerment;
- unauthorized practice of profession.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the above-mentioned individual was re-arrested and charged on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 0800 hours, within the confines of the 50th Precinct.
Charges:
- murder, depraved indifference.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
