On Saturday, October 22, 2022, at approximately 0508 hours, police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 763 E. 219th Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed 62-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his head.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 45-year-old made individual has been arrested and charged on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 1212 hours with in the confines of the 47th Precinct.

- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
