Kaitlin Reuter, 35 & Nathaniel Morton, 40, Arrested For The Murder Of Tamer Shaarawy, 38

On Thursday, December 16, 2021, at approximately 0137 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of a residence, located within the confines of the 123rd Precinct in Staten Island.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Staten Island University South Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation revealed the male was the victim of a home invasion robbery, where he was subsequently shot.

The two suspects then fled the location, unidentified and unapprehended.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 35-year-old female and 40-year-old male individuals were arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed incident.

  • criminal possession of a weapon (4 counts).

The investigation remains ongoing.
