On Saturday, February 19, 2022, at approximately 1517 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot on the corner of E. Tremont Avenue and Belmont Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 44-year-old male with five (5) gunshots to the back.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 43-year-old male individual has been arrested in regard to the above-listed homicide as indicated.

Charges:
- murder;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
