On Monday, July 04, 2022, at approximately 2226 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 2431 Prospect Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 62-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the chest, along with two (2) additional victims.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
A second victim, a 23-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right leg, was also transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A third victim, a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right arm, arrived via private means to St. Barnabas Hospital, and is listed in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
