The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 33rd Precinct / Transit District 3 in Manhattan.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, February 03, 2022, at approximately 1810 hours, inside of the W. 163rd Street / Saint Nicholas Avenue station, the 43-year-old female victim was inside of the mezzanine of the C line, when an unknown individual approached her, displayed a knife, and attempted to remove her cell phone from her hand.

After a brief struggle, the individual instead removed the victim’s purse and fled the station. The purse was later recovered, but the cash that was inside of it was gone.

The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as an adult male in his 30s, Black, approximately 5’07” tall, weighing 160 lbs., with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black winter coat, a white cap, a white face mask, black pants and white sneakers.
