On Monday, July 20, 2026, at approximately 1700 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed in front of 3190 Riverdale Avenue, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old male, who sustained a stab wound to the chest.
The 34-year-old male was transported by responding officers to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
On July 22, 2026, the aided succumbed to his injuries.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has deemed this incident a homicide.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 21-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 0819 hours, within the confines of the 50th Precinct.

- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
