Pn, Sunday, October 4, 2026, at approximately 1833 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an aided inside of 370 E. 158 Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival officers were informed that EMS had responded to the location and transported the aided 35-year-old female to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where she was listed in critical condition with trauma to the head, face and body.
On Monday, October 5, 2026, the aided was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
