The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the following individual depicted in the attached video and photos regarding an assault that occurred within the confines of 61st Precinct / Transit District 34 in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at approximately 2030 hours, inside of the mezzanine level of the Kings Highway subway station, a 48-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male. The unidentified male, unprovoked, grabbed the victim by the torso and dragged him into a turnstile, a wall, and a MetroCard machine.

The victim sustained a fractured shoulder, a fractured wrist and elbow along with a concussion and swelling to the face and forehead and was transported by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center.

The suspect is described as an adult male in his 40s, White, whit a slim build, and facial hair.

He was last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark winter hat.
