The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who are wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at approximately 1440 hours, in front of 655 Courtlandt Avenue, a 64-year-old male was attempting to enter his vehicle, a white 2018 BMW X1, parked at the location. While entering his vehicle, two (2) unknown individuals approached the vehicle and forcefully removed the victim from his vehicle.

One of the individuals lifted his shirt, simulating a weapon in his waistband. An unknown black object was observed by the victim.

The other individual displayed an orange box cutter, while both individuals removed the victim’s chain, wallet, cellphone and car keys. There were multiple credit/debit cards in the wallet.

The individuals proceeded to enter the victim’s vehicle and fled in it northbound on Courtlandt Avenue.

There was approximately $16,000 in cash inside of the vehicle, that was removed.

The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require any medical attention.
