The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male individual depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a grand larceny, that all occurred within the confines of the 109th Precinct in Queens.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 1150 hours, inside of 40-24 College Point Boulevard (a supermarket), a 50-year-old female victim was shopping and left her purse unattended in a shopping cart, when an unknown male individual approached and removed the victim s cell phone from her purse without the victim’s knowledge.

The individual then exited the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim’s property had an estimated value of $1,200.

There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

The individual being sought is described as an adult male, 20-30 years of age, White.

He was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
