The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two individuals, seen in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who ate wanted in connection to a grand larceny within the confines of the 78th Precinct in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, February 21, 2022, at approximately 2215 hours, at an Applebee’s, located at 139 Flatbush Avenue, two (2) unknown individuals followed a 59-year-old female victim into the location.

The victim placed her purse down on a bench inside of the location and the individuals proceeded to remove the purse without permission to do so.

The purse contained multiple credit and debit cards, identification documents, approximately $35, jewelry and other miscellaneous items.

The individuals fled the location in an unknown direction and no injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.

The first individual is described as an adult male, who was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, light-colored hooded sweatshirt and a light-colored hat.

The second individual is described as an adult male, who was last seen wearing a green hooded jacket and a dark-colored hat.
