On Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 2202 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 189 Burnside Avenue, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered two (2) individuals shot.
Victim #1, a 32-year-old male, was shot in the head and removed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Victim #2, a 27-year-old male, was shot in the groin and removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 19-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Tuesday, January 03, 2023, at 1900 hours, within the confines of the 46th Precinct.

- murder;
- assault;
- robbery;
- manslaughter;
- attempted murder;
- criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
