Gabriel Ramirez Gomez, 27, Murdered

On Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 1943 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in the vicinity of Rogers Place and Dawson Street, in the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, police discovered victim #1, a 27-year-old male, with a gunshot wound to his chest and victim #2, a 43-year-old female, who suffered a graze wound to her right leg.

EMS responded and transported victim #1 to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased. Victim #2 was also transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the whereabouts of the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted for questioning in regard to the above-listed homicide.

The individual was riding a motorbike at the location when the incident occurred. The motorbike was last seen traveling westbound on Dawson street towards Prospect Avenue.
